Designed by Anouska Hempel, the Haussmann-style building on Rue Washington has been transformed into a mysterious palace with British touches. The 46 spacious rooms offer a different atmosphere on each floor, featuring black lacquer, mirrors and glass ceilings. On the top floor, the five bright and airy rooms and suites offer sweeping views across Paris. In the evening, in the majestic Galanga dining room, the Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant serves a creative menu. Chef Thomas Danig cooks by instinct. He favours cooking methods that highlight the natural flavours of the ingredients, such as flame-grilling or Japanese barbecue. Extend the magic with a cocktail at the bar. Or on the terrace of a suite, sheltered by the private garden. A small flight of stairs leads to the spa, which offers treatments, a hammam, a sauna and a gym. Monsieur George was created in 2020 by Anouska Hempel, the British pioneer of the boutique hotel concept. Renowned for her originality and influence, she has imbued this Parisian building with a romantic and dreamlike atmosphere. Originally from New Zealand, now living in England after growing up in Australia, Anouska Hempel is a tireless traveller. A modern-day adventurer. Both a cocoon and a boudoir, created from a mix-and-match of materials, fabrics and colours. A design that blends the sophistication of the Belle \u00c9poque with pure Japanese minimalism, created by a duo: interior designer Laura Gonzalez and Artistic Director Olivier Leone. The 26 rooms, including one suite and one apartment, invite guests to relax. Meticulous attention to detail in a gentle, authentic atmosphere. Refined touches of minimalism. Designed by Shirley Garrier, the Hanabi restaurant and bar, with its open kitchen, bridges the gap between traditional bistros and Japanese haute cuisine. To find a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the wellness area, in partnership with Lymfea, offers a swimming pool, two treatment rooms for Japanese-inspired energy treatments, and a cosy fitness area.
