ARTQUIRE: leasing works of art

Moderne Art Fair is delighted to partner with Artquire, a dynamic art leasing finance platform. This strategic partnership opens up new opportunities for gallery owners and collectors. For the past 5 years, Artquire has been committed to facilitating transactions for business and professional collectors through a flexible financing model. This solution enables them to acquire works of art while benefiting from tax advantages.
This partnership is part of the ongoing development of Artquire and reflects the joint desire of the two entities to make art more accessible while supporting artistic creation.

Leasing advantages

→ Spread the acquisition cost over between 13 and 60 months.
→ Rents are 100% deductible from operating income (Article 39-1-1° of the CGI).
→ Preserve cash while benefiting from tax advantages.
→ A residual buyback value is offered at the end of the contract.
→ Maintain your borrowing capacity.
→ Diversify your assets: an innovative investment solution that’s a must-have today.

“With the right advice, art is one of the safest ways of building up a solid portfolio with high returns”.

How it works

Before renting
The collector chooses his artwork with or without Artquire’s advice. Artquire’s partner galleries can also help you expand your collection. Artquire puts together the financing package and guarantees a response in less than 24 hours, calling on legal professionals who can advise clients on the legal and tax aspects of the transaction.

During the renting
The leasing contract generally lasts between 13 and 60 months, during which time the work is accessible to customers and employees. Lease payments are deductible expenses and VAT is recoverable.

Overview: Richard Hawkins, Wolfgang Tillmans, Michael E.Smith, Anne Collier

After the renting
The artwork is assigned by Artquire to any individual or legal entity. This transfer is made for the residual value of the work. Artquire supports its clients throughout the rental period and over the long term.
