ARTQUIRE: leasing works of art
Moderne Art Fair is pleased to welcome Artquire, an innovative and dynamic platform specializing in the financing of artworks through leasing, as one of its new partners. This partnership offers new opportunities and perspectives to gallerists and collectors through flexible financing solutions.
For the past five years, Artquire has been committed to facilitating transactions for collectors, business leaders, and professionals. This model allows the acquisition of artworks while optimizing their tax benefits.
This collaboration is part of Artquire’s ongoing development and reflects the shared goal of both organizations to make art more accessible while supporting artistic creation.
Leasing advantages
→ Spread the acquisition cost over between 13 and 60 months.
→ Rents are 100% deductible from operating income.
→ Preserve cash while benefiting from tax advantages.
→ A residual buyback value is offered at the end of the contract.
→ Maintain your borrowing capacity.
→ Diversify your assets: an innovative investment solution that’s a must-have today.
How it works
Before renting
The collector chooses his artwork with or without Artquire’s advice. Artquire’s partner galleries can also help you expand your collection. Artquire puts together the financing package and guarantees a response in less than 24 hours, calling on legal professionals who can advise clients on the legal and tax aspects of the transaction.
During the renting
The leasing contract generally lasts between 13 and 60 months, during which time the work is accessible to customers and employees. Lease payments are deductible expenses and VAT is recoverable.
Overview: Richard Hawkins, Wolfgang Tillmans, Michael E.Smith, Anne Collier
After the renting
The artwork is assigned by Artquire to any individual or legal entity. This transfer is made for the residual value of the work. Artquire supports its clients throughout the rental period and over the long term.
