CHRISTIAN LE DORZE: A COLLECTOR’S PASSION
A true contemporary art enthusiast, Christian Le Dorze founded the Bonisson Art Center in early 2021 at the heart of the Château Bonisson wine estate, with the aim of sharing his passion and making contemporary art accessible to all. The art centre stages 3 temporary exhibitions a year, open to a wide range of audiences. The centre also organises events for schools and adults. The Bonisson Art Center has set itself 3 priority missions: to support contemporary creation, to disseminate contemporary art in its area, and to train and introduce its audiences to art. It is also a member of the Réseau Plein Sud, a network of 72 contemporary art venues in the south of France, whose aim is to promote contemporary art throughout the south of France, from Sérignan to Monaco.

Moderne Art Fair and the contemporary art center Bonisson

2024 Edition

NEW EXHIBITION
For this edition in October 2024, Moderne Art Fair is delighted to honour the Bonisson Art Center in Rognes, Aix-en-Provence. This new collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting art in all its forms, and will give rise to a brand new exhibition within the fair. A selection of museum works, carefully chosen by Christian Le Dorze, curator of the exhibition and founder of the Bonisson Art Center, representing a wide range of contemporary artistic expression by emerging and established artists: installations, innovative sculptures, vibrant paintings and much more, testifying to the vitality and originality of our times.

It’s a wonderful combination, combining the dynamism of the fair with the unique curatorial expertise of the Bonisson Art Center. Two bastions of modern and contemporary art coming together to offer visitors a rich and stimulating artistic experience. Through this partnership between two committed players, the organisers hope to explore new artistic perspectives and stimulate new and creative dialogues.

Other captivating events at the fair, alongside the gallery stands, will complement this exhibition in the spotlight. Each year, Moderne Art Fair celebrates modern and contemporary art and shares its bold vision of creativity. The organisers are looking forward to opening the doors of this promising new edition from 17 to 20 October 2024, on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
