Le Cloître de l'Art
Founded by Salomé Fischer (active member of SLAM and SNCAO-GA) in 2021, Le Cloître de l’Art is a Parisian gallery located at 16 rue de Grange Batelière, in the 9th arrondissement, in the heart of the Drouot Art District. A warm and timeless space where ancient art meets modernity, offering our clientele a pointed arch of beauty and grace.
The gallery has already participated in two editions of the Rare Book and Graphic Arts Fair in September 2023 at the Grand Palais Éphémère and in June 2024 at the Carreau du Temple and is preparing to exhibit at Namur Antica Belgium in the coming November.
Romantic and mystical in spirit, Le Cloître de l’Art presents a curated selection of drawings and prints, paintings, and objets d’art, mostly from the 19th and 20th centuries, placed in dialogue with contemporary artists. Carefully and uniquely framed, the poetic joy of the Liberty Art Nouveau style meets the spirituality of the Lyon and Nabi schools, contrasted by the mysteries of Franco-Belgian symbolism and the folklore of the Slavic soul.
