Galerie Berthéas
Galerie Berthéas was founded in Saint-Étienne in 1989, and expanded to Vichy in 2000 and Paris in 2012. For more than 40 years it has supported the painters of the École de Paris and the abstract painting of the 60s and 70s, while also including works of figurative art and the École de Nice.
It takes part in numerous contemporary art fairs and regularly organises exhibitions and retrospectives. In 2017, the gallery moved to the Marais district of Paris, and in 2019 it will open a space of over 2,000 m² in Saint-Étienne. A second address in Vichy, chic and historic, reflects its editorial line.
At the end of 2024, the gallery plans to move from rue de Turenne to a promising new location. The gallery is a member of the Comité professionnel des Galeries d’Art.
