Galerie Lacan, founded in 1979 by Thierry Lacan, essentially defends the artists of
the new figuration , it is specialized in fine art editions under the name L’Estampe.
It has the only workshop for aquagravure printing in France. This very special engraving technique has attracted many artists; Corneille said it allowed him to express his talent and was perfectly suited to his work.
Thus, from Corneille to Bogart, and artists of narrative figuration, Erró in the lead, to
the founders of free figuration, Combas and Di Rosa, l’Estampe pays tribute to the
great initiators of contemporary art.
