De Zutter Art Gallery
De Zutter Art Gallery, founded in 2003 as Mdz Art Gallery by Michael De Zutter in Knokke‑Heist, quickly established itself on the international art scene. Initially focused on the CoBrA movement, the gallery later expanded its scope to include 1950s–60s minimalist art (ZERO), and then to a carefully curated selection of renowned post-war and contemporary artists.
It has hosted solo exhibitions of major figures such as Appel, Alechinsky, Corneille, Mack, Piene, Knoebel, Arman, Christo, Biasi, Penck, and Cragg. Since 2012, it has also showcased emerging talents such as Aboudia, Stefan De Jaeger, and The Connor Brothers.
By joining ROCAD (Royal Chamber of Art Dealers), the gallery has positioned itself among Belgium’s most respected and reputable art institutions.
The name change to De Zutter Art Gallery in 2023 marks a new chapter, asserting both its international character and the personal vision of its founder.
A true witness to the history of art from the post-war period to today, the gallery combines historical rigor, aesthetic excellence, and a forward-looking spirit.
