WHEELCOME, ACCESSIBILITY PARTNER OF MODERNE ART FAIR
Moderne Art Fair renews its partnership with Wheelcome
Moderne Art Fair is delighted to renew its partnership with Wheelcome, the leading accessibility label, in order to ensure an inclusive experience for all its visitors, collectors and exhibitors.
Founded by Christophe Morel, Wheelcome is based on a firm belief: accessibility is not limited to technical standards. The label relies on real-world audits, carried out by people with disabilities, to assess the quality of the experience in venues open to the public.
This collaboration fully embodies Moderne Art Fair’s commitment to creating an open, people-centred and accessible art event that is in tune with major contemporary issues. By welcoming Wheelcome as one of its partners, the fair reaffirms its determination to reinvent hospitality practices and promote a culture of inclusion – so that everyone can fully experience contemporary art, without barriers.
The Wheelcome label represents an innovative and significant initiative in the field of accessibility and inclusion for people with reduced mobility within Public Access Premises and Events (ERP). Created to recognise establishments that are actively committed to improving access and the experience of people with disabilities, this label aims to reward efforts made to promote their independence and full participation in social life.
