David Pluskwa Art Contemporain
With over 33 years of experience, David Pluskwa opened his first gallery in 1996, dedicated to 19th and early 20th-century painting.
In 2012, he decided to open an exhibition space entirely dedicated to Modern and Contemporary Art. This demanding artistic direction highlights established artists such as César, Michel Macréau, Robert Combas, and Erro for the 20th century. Additionally, artists like Jef Aérosol, and Nicolas Rubinstein are showcased as contemporaries, along with rising talents such as Rose Madone, Wilson Mété, Luke Newton, and Chloé Kelly Miller.
The gallery’s program includes solo shows, duos, and collectives, with a dense schedule each year and off-site events. Furthermore, the gallery participates in numerous art fairs.
David Pluskwa is passionate about talent scouting and has successfully grown his work in this area. For several years, his focus has been on bringing to light the work of Michel Macréau, a major pioneering artist of the second half of the 20th century.
